Wish weekends we're longer!

Wow! What a great weekend. I love weather people because they always say its gonna be crappy out and it turns out to be a nice weekend. I want that job... what other job can you be consistently inconsistent and keep your job.. and get paid a ton....

On Friday night Lynsey and I went to see Grown-Ups, the new Adam Sandler movie. It was OK, def don't think it was bad like critics were saying however it definitely doesn't get two thumbs up... there was absolutely no point in the storyline of the movie. After the movie was grabbed Wendy's and then went home and crashed..

Saturday we slept in till about 10a and then we got up and got ready to play Softball. Lynsey and I joined a co-ed softball team and what a time we had! Lynsey played in the outfield with me and made an assist.. i think Ive seen what she did twice in my life... the balls hit in the air to her and she goes under it to try and catch it and it tips off the top of her glove and the guy playing right center was backing her up and he caught it off of Lynsey's tip, it was great. I had 3 RBI's for the team and we split the double header one win and one loss. After the game we enjoyed a Five Guys delicious hamburger...then of course i did down the hatch in Brookfield as we do every Saturday night live with 98Q. it was slammin' packed!

Sunday we slept in a bit again and were debating what to do with our final weekend day... earlier in the week we we're thinking about casino with another couple but together decided.. no. A year ago, we probably would have but now we're trying to stay away from that evil place. We then thought if it were a good day we would go to the beach but it was overcast and muggy all day for the most part.. so we opted to bring Maggie (our beagle) to a doggy park in Ridgefield CT. There were lots of other dogs and Maggie decided to be lame and just play by herself lol. After the dog park we went and had delicious ice cream at Ridgefield Ice Cream and then went to Walmart to return our recycled bottles (holla at getting $1.10 back for 22 bottles :) Saving the earth over here while quietly becoming a millionaire :P After we got home I had to get to my baseball game in Bridgewater CT. I was supposed to start this game because I only pitch on Sundays because I cannot make the weekday games at 5:30p However, they got rained out and someone forfeited the last 2 games so everyone was bumped back. My buddy Bryan had the start on Sunday and I was to come in relief if he needed it and so I came in with one out in the 4Th inning and finished the game letting up a run (on a bases loaded walk) while striking out 1 and allowing just 2 hits in the 3.2 innings pitched. I came in with the game 5-2 the other team however we we're never able to score anymore runs and lost the game. After the game went home to have a candlelight dinner with Lynsey :)

So to recap the weekend... I wish they were longer and I'm SORE... Lot's of physical activity for this guy this weekend.

The week ahead: Planning a big giveaway with 98Q (just in case your a 98Q listener, I will not divulge anything else.) Got a softball game on Tuesday night AND we make the transition into JULY! Where the heck has time gone? Redic.

Be well and thanks for reading!

What an action packed weekend....

Super fun filled weekend ahead... Tonight Lynsey and I are going to go see that new Adam Sandler movie "Grown Ups." Tomorrow I'm dragging Lynsey (shouldn't have to) to play Softball in co-ed league which I really think she'll enjoy. It's a double header tomorrow... I just absolutely love being outside and on a softball or baseball field.

Then on Saturday night im deejaying at Down the Hatch in Brookfield and then Sunday going to the casino with another couple. Just hope that it doesnt go by too fast!

On the air right now... doing what I love... listen live www.98q.com

Adios!

Dog bonb.)es and Wally World

Wow, my dog loves dog bones.. not the treats you get at the bank (she loves those too.) Lynsey and I went to Wal-Mart tonight to get some things and saw some chewable bones on sale and grabbed one. It'll keep her occupied all night.

We go Lynsey a softball glove for our first co-ed softball game that we're playing in this Saturday! Im so excited to a.) be playing in another league and b.) get the play with lyns right by my side :)

Tomorrow is Friday! I think Lynsey and I are going to see that funny new Adam Sandler movie tomorrow night, then of course on Saturday night I'll be at down the hatch in brookfield for what we like to call Party 98. It's a really sweet place and Bud Bud Light and Bud Light Lime $3 aluminum 28 degree bottles. Talk about delicious!

Sunday we may see our friends from a few towns away. It's a rarity to see friends because Lyns and I are so busy all the time. Hope everyone has a great Friday

phone update

So I just started a blog yesterday but now I'm checking out the mobile version of the site and its working great. I thought what good is a blog if you can't update on the go!

So lynsey off to work. You know what I love and what she hates is that I get to sleep in longer than she does during the week! At least now she'll have fridays off!

Today should be a busy day at work so I must get ready. I've got a softball game tonight and someone please remind me to get beverages for the house! I think I might die if we don't get some liquids other than milk in this fridge :)

Welcome to the blog world

So I sit here wondering to myself... who DOESN'T blog? I really do think that if dogs could type on a keyboard, my dog would blog. My wonderful girlfriend Lynsey blogs but... she slacks in that department... we need to light a match underneath her you know what to get her moving with the technology world here.

So speaking of Lynsey, we just this week have booked an awesome vacation for September to San Diego! I am stoked. If you know me I'm like a kid in a candy store with that type of stuff. Even though it's 70+ days away, I'm still planning and getting gitty like it's tomorrow. I'm looking very much forward to going to California as I've never been there before. In San Diego I hope to beach it, go to a San Diego Padres game and also enjoying the shopping scene (had to say so Lyns smiles.)

Hopefully I won't fall completely in love with the west coast and never come back...

Well tomorrow is already Thursday! How exciting! Still can't believe we're just a week away from July! Geez how the time goes....

Until tomorrow... adios!
